Angela B was super friendly - the food was amazing with many layers of favors. The service was AAA they even gave me a to-go tea for the road. I had the special with the crab cakes it was awesome. I like the spinach artichoke dip.

We went here for our 43rd anniversary. We ate on the rooftop, and it was the perfect weather. The food!! We had the crab cake appetizer and ordered the ribeye for our dinners. I had the house salad with the best blue cheese dressing, and my husband had the Caesar salad. The meal also comes with a loaded baked potato. The food was perfection... steaks cooked perfectly to order! Our waitstaff was Drew and Alissa (sp?). The BEST! Friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and even though it was busy, we never felt forgotten. In fact, they were very attentive. Drew even brought us dessert (to go) as an anniversary gift. We highly recommend!!!!!

Very friendly greeters and servers. Plenty of seating, seldom need to wait for a table...unless on a weekend night. Priced right! Love the Samual Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout! Drew was my server and is credited for recommending me the Chocolate beer.

Never have I ever had anything but absolute delicious food (and service) here… and again today. My friend suggested 1/2 order of the Spinach Artichoke Dip (a plenty!) and Scallops appetizer (big, cooked perfectly and ab FAB!) and we added shaved ribeye egg rolls. Perfect trio for sharing and leftovers too (except the scallops). Those who already enjoy Mannings know what I’m talking about but if you’ve never been, put on your to do list!

We recently had a family gathering at Manning's Restaurant in Clayton, NC, and it was my first time visiting. From the moment we arrived, the experience was delightful, and I am incredibly thankful for the excellent service provided by the wait staff. One of the most notable moments was when a member of the staff went above and beyond to assist my mother-in-law. She had some difficulty navigating the steps, and without hesitation, one of the waiters kindly escorted her, ensuring she got to her seat safely. That small act of kindness made a big impact on our experience, and we were all very grateful. As for the food, it did not disappoint! The appetizers were absolutely on point, setting the tone for a fantastic meal. My brisket burger was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of tenderness. To top it all off, I ordered their lemonade, and it was one of the best I've had in a long time – refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness. Manning's Restaurant is not just a place to eat but an experience. With great food and even better service, I highly recommend this spot for any occasion, whether it's a family gathering or just a casual night out. We will definitely be back!

It’s Valentine’s Day and this is the first time we’ve eaten from this restaurant, we got it to go. We ordered the half pound hamburger with onion rings, and The drunken chicken sandwich, both were fantastic! And we really felt like reasonably priced for the size of the sandwiches and the quality! The burger was so big that I had to split it with my daughter! I added blue cheese and bacon to it. It was perfectly cooked. My husband loved the chicken sandwich and really enjoyed the Parmesan for fries. We will definitely be back!!

My wife and I decided to get married on the rooftop of Mannings and it was AMAZING!! Not only was it incredibly affordable Howard and Jennifer went above and beyond helping to put it all together! The food was DELICIOUS and everyone raved about how delicious the food was (a fully customizable menu) and how the drinks (Open bar) flowed all night long! The wait staff were incredibly kind and were on top of their game the entire time, we had a wonderful bartender for the evening as well, she even found me in the middle of the wedding to hand me a drink, it was just the kinda personal touch that I believe Jennifer and Howard Manning were responsible for. 10/10 recommend getting married here or get a DELICIOUS dinner

Another excellent visit! Everything was sooo good and our server was on point. No wait time as it was a Sunday afternoon and everything was clean and tidy. Pictures don't do it justice as we couldn't wait for pictures to start munching!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Our server Drew was PHENOMENAL!!! He was attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. He made amazing recommendations, and they were all spot on. When you grow up in a seafood town, especially one that doesn't play around when it comes to anything crab related, that can make you a little hesitant on selecting a crab dish in other states. The crab dip paired with the Old Bay pita chips was a seafood lover's dream. The crab cake was delightful as well. Served with the fried green tomato and corn relish the flavors were just right. We had eaten over half of it by the time I took the picture. The waffle with the chicken and waffles served with moist chicken fried to perfection and the pork belly was incredible. The ribeye eggrolls were the best I've ever had. I found out about this place because I was given a gift card as a birthday gift. Needless to say, I will indeed be back. The service and the food were superior, and I can't wait to come back for more. Thank you Drew for a great experience!

Amazing restaurant to eat at.Be sure to make sure to book for reservations. It does get a little packed on the weekends or near a special occasion you might have. As you can see I finished off everything they served. Gumbo was good, but the chicken wasn’t shredded or chopped properly. Ribs were excellent seasoned fries were great. My wife had boneless ribs. They were fantastic. She finished those off, I also had a grilled salmon with bacon. It was amazing. My Caesar salad was fantastic. Crabcakes were great. Our waitress was amazing. We wanted to change seats. She had no problem with it changed our seats. We were very pleased, so far one of the best restaurants we ate at this year in Clayton.
